Earlier this year Vantage announced its plan to support the use of electric vans by installing electrical charging points for its customer running electric fleets, as part of the business’s commitment to the environment.
The next phase of Vantage’s environmental commitment was completed this month when our Telford-premises was completely switched to LED lighting. These new LED lights will see Vantage reducing its lighting bill by 80% – benefitting both the business and the environment.
Mark Cheshire, Managing Director of Vantage said:
‘We are committed to changing the way we work where there is a positive benefit to both the business and the environment, currently this includes increasing the number of electric vans we convert and using energy efficient lighting. However, our initiatives will not stop there – currently we are researching the viability of using wood off-cuts from van ply-lining to power a wood chip boiler for heating.’
NEW RECRUITS
Vantage are delighted to welcome two new members to the team – Jake Timmins and Chris Doyle. Both join the business as Vehicle Conversion Technicians and will be based at Vantage’s premises in Telford.
