Vantage Vehicle Conversions Supports The ‘Shropshire’ Italian Job
Vantage is delighted to announce its sponsorship of a classic mini taking part in the Italian Job – a car rally in aid of Children’s charities. The event launched in 1990, has raised over £2.5 million pounds for Children’s charities directly improving the lives of young people.
Vantage Vehicle Conversions is sponsoring Harry and Charlotte Weaver, classic mini enthusiasts from Shropshire who will join The Italian Job Rally in Imola, Italy on Friday 27th October 2017 to start their journey. The rally will re-create the original Michael Caine film, drive round the track at Monza and explore Emilia-Romagna the land of Ducati, Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Before they set off on their epic journey the classic mini will be on-show throughout the UK at the following shows:
- Himley Hall Mini Show (7th May);
- The National Mini and Metro Show (4th June);
- National Mini Cooper Day (11th June);
- Colchester to Great Yarmouth Mini Run (30th July);
- Mini in the Park (13th August).
This UK tour finale will take place on the day the car sets off from Shropshire to Dover, where family, friends and sponsors, including Vantage Vehicle Conversions will send it on its way, with local mini owners encouraged to create a convoy of minis through Telford and on to the M54.
