The MICHELIN Tyre Pressure Management System is now available at Vantage Vehicle Conversions, Telford, Shropshire.
Having the correct tyre pressure is critical for safe and cost-efficient driving – reducing tyre wear and improving fuel economy. Whilst many car manufacturers now include a tyre pressure sensor system as a standard-fit safety feature, this is not the case for all commercial vehicles, making an aftermarket tyre pressure sensor system essential. Importantly, this system can also be easily fitted to caravans and trailers.
Vantage Vehicle Conversions is delighted to offer the MICHELIN Tyre Pressure Management System, as it has been designed to be the easiest system both to install and use, with set up time estimated at less than five minutes, with the team at Vantage happy to demonstrate how!
Unlike other aftermarket systems, The MICHELIN Tyre Pressure Management System needs no manual pairing between the sensors and the control unit and no complicated programming.
The MICHELIN Tyre Pressure Management System standard kit available from Vantage Vehicle Conversions includes:
Pressure Sensors
To fit the pressure sensors all you need to do is ensure that your tyres are at the correct pressure, then fit the clever auto-calibrating, ultra-lightweight sensors (8 g) and set off on your journey. The systems auto pairing technology ensures that your receiver is ready to alert you of any tyre warning signals sent from the sophisticated pressure sensor valves.
The fully sealed sensors are waterproof meaning the system is effective in all weather conditions and even on boat trailers whose wheels are submerged in use. Sealed and tested to IP67.
The system has been tested and shown to be effective at speeds in excess of 300 km/h (187 mp/h) and also integrates a temperature sensor to warn the driver if the tyre is overheating which can lead to tyre failure.
Receiver
This solar powered receiver is all you need to take full advantage of your MICHELIN sensors. Just press and hold down the power button, remove the adhesive cover sheet, and place on the windscreen and that’s it – less than 30 seconds and you have a tyre pressure management system. Don’t worry about complicated pairing as the sensors will pair to your receiver on the very first journey.
Pressure Checker
For ultimate piece of mind, why not check the actual pressure of your tyres every month or before you set off on your journey. Place the pressure checker logo over the sensor logo, then a sensor light will flash, then ‘bleep’, and by magic the tyre pressure and sensor battery life will appear on the screen in seconds!
Once all tyres are checked, just place the MICHELIN pressure checker back in its magnetic dashboard holder.
The MICHELIN receiver can monitor up to 12 sensors at the same time, so you can monitor your van and your trailer!
